Correction Policy

Possible calculator issues may be reported through the existing Contact AdvisorCalc page. A report is assessed against the implemented calculator, configuration, governed data, tests, reviewed expected outputs, and relevant source material.

The assessment identifies the affected calculators, time period, result impact, user action, and whether another approval-controlled process is required. A likely formula defect, stale governed value, or unsafe limitation is not treated as documentation-only work.

Public correction records are reserved for material calculator issues and resolved corrections whose user impact should be communicated. Internal findings, test failures, and maintenance notes do not publish automatically, and internal severity remains private.

Every new public record requires explicit founder approval after review of the evidence, affected calculators, result impact, wording, tests, resolution or mitigation, and rollback path. A record receives a stable descriptive anchor so it can be linked directly.

A known issue explains the current effect and any available user action without claiming a resolution. A resolved correction includes the resolution and resolution date. Published records may also identify an affected period and supporting links.

Material edits, status changes, and removals require the same explicit approval as publication. If a public Reference release is unsafe, the immediate safety path is to disable Reference and verify the prior behavior before an approved correction or rollback is published. AdvisorCalc does not promise individual notification or a fixed response timeline.
